Does Venmo Cashout Still Work?

I used to do the venmo cashout method and got about a k from it before my accounts were closed because I was dumb. The method was easy and smooth but I go to try again and my cards are getting declined and killed. It has been a few months so I'm thinking that maybe they fixed the exploit. Anyone know if this method still works?

Venmo makes it very easy to withdraw funds into venmo balance, and then makes it very VERY difficult to move them from there. No explanation needed, just "you violated our terms, no we won't tell you how, and you can have your money back in 6 months if we feel like it".
